Google Doodles are the brand’s most visible and beloved asset. They are moments of delight along your internet journey that surprise, teach, and spark discovery. Doodles partnered with Stink Studios to craft an immersive site where discovery is at the forefront, inviting those eager to dive into the stories behind the doodles and the captivating subjects that inspired them.

For this project,
I led the development of the strategic approach for the digital experience and overall user journey. Crafted a dynamic framework, prototypes, site architecture, and blueprint, leveraging insights from intensive workshops, comprehensive research, audits, and hands-on user testing.

The Challenge

It all starts with the Doodle of the Day.

73% of visitors arrive at the Doodle site through the Google search page's Doodle of the Day, with the majority not venturing further. To stimulate ongoing exploration, we devised engaging pathways linked to the current Doodle, offering novel routes to discover more Doodles.

The Approach

Discovery that is enticing and unexpected.

We introduced a series of discovery modules, opening up additional pathways to explore more Doodles. In tandem, we developed a robust and playful search and filtering hub, enabling visitors to discover more Doodles based on their interests.

A new Doodle hub, immersing millions of visitors in forefront exploration every year.
